At the Center for Assistive Technology (CAT), our core mission is to ensure the widespread availability of safe, effective, and affordable assistive products. We are passionate about empowering individuals with disabilities by enhancing their access to the tools and technologies that can significantly improve their way of life.

An independent, democratic, and secular disability, rehabilitation, and development organization, registered as a Trust in Bangalore. Our vision is to cater to the needs of persons with disabilities and older people who require assistive products, enabling them to live healthy, productive, independent, and dignified lives.

Mission

Our mission is to improve access to assistive technology and make affordable, high-quality assistive products, prosthetics and orthotics components, raw materials, tools, machinery & equipment, and other accessories available in the rehabilitation sector. The positive impact of these assistive products improves the health and well-being of individual users and their families, enabling them to participate in education, livelihood, and gainful socio-economic benefits.

Priority

Our priority is to serve people with disabilities, particularly children, women, older people, and those who are economically disadvantaged.
